Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) is looking a little more tech savvy lately.

According to Bloomberg, AllThingsD's Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher will be moving from News Corp.'s (Nasdaq: NWSA) over to Comcast's NBCUniversal at the end of 2013. The deal is expected to be announed sometime in early January 2014.

The deal between the two venerable tech reporters and NBCU calls for both a news site as well as tech conferences. Mossberg and Swisher will have majority control of the venture.

Distribution might be a little better on NBCU, with access to entities like CNBC, NBC News, and MSNBC.

AllThingsD generated $14 million in annual sales with profit of $5.5 million in its most recent year, according to Bloomberg. The new startup was said to be valued anywhere from $25 million to $35 million.

Shares of Comcast are up 0.6 percent.
