Japan's largest brokerage, Nomura Holdings Inc. (NYSE: NMR), may close prop trading arm Angel Lane Principal Strategies, according to reports from Bloomberg. Reports say the cuts relate to a planned $1 billion cost-cutting strategy and do not necessarily relate to performance. A final decision has not been reached, but could come within weeks.
