Nokia (NYSE: NOK) debuted its new Lumia 925 smartphone in India on Thursday. Starting price on the device is 33,499 rupees, or about $513.
In addition, Nokia released the Lumia 625 in India for a starting price of 19,999 rupees.
Nokia is the fourth largest handset distributor with a 5.9 percent market share in India, while India itself is the second largest telecom market globally behind China.
Shares of Nokia are down 0.7 percent Thursday.
