More news is out supporting Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) plan to launch its next version of the iPhone and lower-cost iPhone next month.
According to Japan's Nikkei, Apple will launch its iPhone in Japan on September 20th. Sales of the devices will be handled by SoftBank and KDDI, while DoCoMo isn not expected to sell the new devices.
Nikkei also noted that a "champagne gold" color option will be offered on the device.
Shares of Apple are indicated higher Wednesday.
