New Android OS Expected Out Very Soon (GOOG)

Google, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) is expected to update its Android mobile OS soon.

According to reports Friday morning, Google's next generation Android, 3.2 OS, will come to market at the end of July or in early August. Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer Asustek indicated it will be launching Android 3.2-based tablets soon, while peer Huawei Technologies is expected to launch the same device in the third quarter.

Improvements coming from Google's new Android OS include: applications, hardware acceleration capabilities and upgrade functions including Movie Studio, Movies, Music and Widget. The OS will also optimize Qualcomm's (Nasdaq: QCOM) Snapdragon CPUs.

Google is ripping higher this morning following a strong second-quarter report.
