Netflix (NFLX) Shares See Upside Following Announcement of 'One Click' Remote

Netflix, Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX) is seeing a little upside today, following the announcement that they have signed agreements with several of the world's leading consumer electronics companies, such as Haier, Memorex, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, and Toshiba, among others, which would place a button on a remote control that would take viewers directly to the Netflix application on their Internet-enabled TV or Blu-ray.
Netflix lovingly calls it a "one-click remote." Remote controls for the Boxee, Iomega and Roku set-top boxes also will feature the Netflix one-click remote.
Shares of NFLX are up 2.3% today on the news.
