Netflix (NFLX) Shares Pop on New U.S. Subscription Plan

Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) shares are trading higher following the announcement of a streaming-only plan in the U.S. being available for $7.99 per month.

The regular plant, which also allows for the rental of DVDs, increased 12.5% to $9.99 per month.

On the news, shares are up 3.4% premarket today.
