NYSE 2014 and 2015 Holiday Hours
While some may sell dreams about making millions trading stocks with little effort - that couldn't be further from the truth. Trading is flat out a hard business. To be a successful trader you need to put in long hours, not just when the market is open but when it is closed. Many of the best traders get going before 6AM and work beyond 6PM. That said, there are few professions as rewarding and limitless as trading. However, with all the long hours staring at monitors and stressing out about open positions, there is nothing traders cherish more than the few days the market is closed each year. It's a time for joy and to reflect on all the hard work put in.
Today, the NYSE released its 2015 Holiday schedule as well as reaffirming its 2014 schedule. See Here) The NASDAQ mirrors the NYSE, so when the big board is closed it's time to party!
