NASDAQ Looking At Rambus (RMBS) Trades

Shares of the often-volatile Rambus (Nasdaq: RMBS), which lives and dies with pending litigation, saw trading that was apparently more volatile than normal this afternoon and now NASDAQ is investigating.
At its website, NASDAQ MarketWatch said it is investigating potentially erroneous transactions involving the security Rambus Inc. (RMBS) executed between 13:28:00 and 13:32:00 ET today. There has been no update.
After opening at $24.80, shares of Rambus dropped to as low as $15.75 during this time. Most of the trades during that time frame were in the $18-$20 range.
Rambus has an upcoming Anti-Trust trial with Hynix/Micron/Samsung scheduled to begin January 11th 2010.
