Morgan Stanley Lower Again Despite Better-Than-Expected Q3

Morgan Stanley's (NYSE: MS) better-than-expected Q3 report after the close seems to have done little to calm investor fears. The stock is down 14% currently.

Credit defaults swaps on Morgan Stanley are on the rise again, up 80 bps to 760.

Morgan Stanley reported EPS of $1.32, well above the analyst estimate of $0.78. Revenues for the quarter were $8 billion, also well above the consensus of $6.32 billion.
