Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) has long been speculated to mull creation of an iPhone equipped with a larger display. But, could rumors finally come to fruition in 2014?
DisplaySearch added its own two-cents to the chatter Tuesday. The firm made a list of table's of displays that might appear in 2014.
For the 1.3- to 1.6-inch segment, with 320 X 320 resolution and flexible AMOLED technology, DisplaySearch thinks Apple might use this for an upcoming 'iWatch' smartwatch product.
In the 4.7-inch or 5.5-inch segment, with 1600 X 900/1920 X 1080 resolution and LTPS TFT LCD technology, DisplaySearch sees Apple using this in a next-generation iPhone model, tentatively called the iPhone 6.
