Microsoft (MSFT) Surface Will Make Mid-March Debut in Japan

Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) is adding on to its announcement of extended distribution of its Surface tablet line.
According to a statement from the company, Microsoft will commence sales of Surface tablets in Japan on March 15th at a price of 49,800¥ for the 32-gigabyte model.
Early Thursday, Microsoft announced plans to bring the surface to such markets as Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, China, and elsewhere over the coming weeks.
Microsoft is down 0.5 percent early.
