Microsoft (MSFT) Shift Focus; Will Cease Giving CES Keynote, Holding Booth

In a rather rapid shift, Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) announced on its official blog Wednesday that this will be the last keynote speech and booth it will have at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV.
Corporate Vice President of Communications, Frank Shaw, said reasoning behind the move was Microsoft's product new milestones "generally don’t align with the show’s January timing."
Notably, Microsoft has been the keynote at the show over the last 20 years or so. Microsoft still plans to attend, viewing CES "as a great place to connect with partners and customers across the PC," but everything else is done.
