Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) may be looking at another hardware venture: all-in-one (AIO) computers.
According to Digitimes, Microsoft might release its own AIO under the Surface name sometime in Q316 at earliest.
The Surface AIO will an alternative to the Surface Book, which is expected to be delayed until early 2017.
Specifications surrounding the device weren't made available.
Global AIO shipments are expected to fall 10 percent to 12.6 million units this year.
Shares of Microsoft are up 1 percent Thursday.
