Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) was in the news earlier for a massive shakeup of the company's management structure, but there's other news out for
TheVerge says that Microsoft is going to slash prices on its Surface RT tablet lineup, with implementation of the plan slated for sometime next week. Price cuts of $150 per model are expected, said sources.
With the Surface RT being about one year old, a replacement for the device isn't too far fetched. The next generation of Surface tablets is expected to have a smaller version and run on Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) Haswell architecture.
