Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) is holding an event on March 27th, with many tech/market watchers expecting that it will release Office for Apple's iPad.
ZDNet reports that Microsoft could also debut its enterprise device management platform, Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS). EMS will work with Apple, Google, and Windows devices among others.
Included in the bundle will be Windows Intune, Microsoft Azure Active Directory 'Premium' offering, and Azure Rights Management Service, ZDNet said, citing sources with the information.
Microsoft Intune, which manages devices in the cloud, will be enhanced for BYOD. The platform will allow management of thousands of devices without needing System Center.
Shares of Microsoft are down 1.3 percent. The company's webcast will be on Thursday at 1pm EST.
