Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Internet Explorer 10.0 is making headway against...well, itself.
Data from NetMarketShare today has IE 10.0 with 13.52 percent of the global desktop browser market, while IE 9.0 is at 11.71 percent. The leader is still IE 8.0 with 22.67 percent.
Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Chrome is at 13.76 percent while Firefox commands 12.47 percent.
Microsoft has IE 11.0 out as well, but wasn't counted for June given the limited time since debut (within the last few days of the month). IE 11.0 will be available with the Windows 8.1 update, but Microsoft didn't say when it will be ported to work on Windows 7.
Shares of Microsoft are down 0.4 percent Monday.
