Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) is lower Monday amid new comments by CEO Steve Ballmer over initial Surface tablet sales.
According to Gizmodo, citing an interview with LeParisien.fr, sales of the new Surface RT tablet have been "modest." There must be a bug in Google Translate somewhere, given that Ballmer has been a champion of Microsoft and the Surface for years.
In addition, Ballmer noted that Microsoft sold about 4 million Windows 8 upgrades three-days following the launch.

Microsoft is down about 0.4 percent in early trading.
