Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) topped Apple, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) in yet another consumer satisfaction survey.
Forrester Research reported that Microsoft, Samsung, and Sony (NYSE: SNE) beat Apple in a survey of what it was like to deal with the company. The following questions were asked to 7,500 U.S. consumers:
1. How enjoyable were they to do business with?
2. How easy were they to do business with?
3. How effective were they at meeting your needs?
Forrester also divides companies into different categories depending on how they interact with the customer. One example would be dealing with Apple for issues with the iPad versus purchsing items via its iTunes service.
