Medicis (NYSE: MRX) is nearly 9 percent lower Tuesday, in after-hours trading.
Earlier, the Company reported progress in reducing managed care restrictions for SOLODYN (minocycline HCl, USP) Extended Release Tablets and the Company's other therapeutic products.
The company also lowered its expected fourth-quarter EPS from a range of 63 to 69 cents to a range of 51 to 57 cents, and revs from $187 to $200 million to $170 to $183 million. Medicis also issued a lowered fiscal 2011 outlook. For more color, click here.
