McDonald's (MCD) Said Aiming to Partner with Hottest Mobile Game Around

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) shares are ramping to session following reports that the fast-food chain could be in partnership with one of the hottest games around.

Gizmodo said that a bit of code from the new Pokemon Go app was discovered recently, with a portion of the script reading Sponsored.McDonalds. The code obviously hints at a McDonald's sponsorship, though details weren't immediately clear.

Ninatic Labs, creator of the game, has said in the past that there would be sponsorships.

Shares of McDonald's are up 0.6 percent.
