McDonald's (MCD) Raises Double Cheeseburger Price to $1.19; Introduces McDouble

Yesterday, McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) announced that it will be raising the price of its popular Double Cheeseburger over the previous $1 level to $1.19.

McDonald's also introduced the "McDouble", a sandwich with two beef patties, but only one slice of American cheese, rather than the 2 on the Double Cheeseburger. The McDouble will be placed on the Dollar Menu on December 1 for $1.00.

Shares of McDonald's are down about 1.3% to $55.60 in pre-market trading.

McDonald's Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, franchises and operates McDonald's restaurants worldwide.
