MasterCard (MA) Marks New All-Time High Today

Shares of MasterCard (NYSE: MA) have just come off a session and all-time high of $238.25, and are now trading up nearly $7, or about 3%, from yesterday's close.

MasterCard stock has outperformed the S&P 500 during April: its stock is up about 8% over the month, while the S&P 500 index has moved up only 5%. Despite a nice run this month, shares of MasterCard (using the RSI, or relative strength index) do not appear to be overbought.

Looking at several other technical indicators, MasterCard has broken through its 10-day simple moving average today and has jumped about $26 higher than its 50-day SMA, which is near $212.
