Marvel Entertainment (MVL) Higher on S&P MidCap 400 Addition

Shares of Marvel Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: MVL) are getting a boost today (+3.75%) following news the company will replace The Commerce Group Inc. (NYSE: CGI) in the S&P MidCap 400. The Commerce Group is being acquired by Mapfre S.A. in a deal expected to close soon.

Shares of Marvel, currently at $35.14, are trading at a new 52-week high

Marvel Entertainment, Inc. engages in the licensing, publishing, toy making, and film production businesses with a proprietary library of approximately 5,000 characters in the United States and internationally.
