Macau-Related Gaming Stocks Higher After Wynn Numbers (LVS, MPEL, MGM)

Gaming stocks with exposure to Macau are higher in after hours trading Thursday following positive number from Wynn Resorts (Nasdaq: WYNN) from the Chinese gaming hot spot.
Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) is 11% higher, Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. (Nasdaq: MPEL) is 7% higher and MGM Mirage (NYSE: MGM) is 6% higher.
Wynn Resorts announced preliminary Q2 expectations saying, "On a GAAP basis, operating income for Wynn Macau for the second quarter of 2008 is expected to be in the range of $100 million to $106 million, compared to $53.2 million in the 2007 period. Adjusted property EBITDA is expected to be in the range of $152 million to $158 million in the second quarter of 2008, compared to $92.7 million for the second quarter of 2007." Wynn's Las Vegas results were down significantly. Shares of Wynn are up 14% after-hours.
