The high-end retail group will likely have a rocky start to Tuesday's trading session as several companies have issued warnings since Monday afternoon's close.

Shares of Liz Claborne (NYSE: LIZ) are trading down nearly 10 percent in the pre-market hours after cutting its FY12 adj-EBITDA outlook from $130-$150 million to $125-$140 million last night. The company also announced its chief financial officer, Andrew Warren, will be resigning.

Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) now expects FY12 EPS in the range of $3.60-$3.65, down from a prior outlook of $3.70-$3.80. A consensus of analyst estimates currently sits at $3.76 per share.

Tiffany shares last traded at $61.90, down 7.5 percent from Monday's closing price.

The specialty-retail sector has been facing difficult times given massive exposure in Europe and high commodity costs throughout most of 2011.
