Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) is the traditional e-commerce leader when it comes to holiday sales. But, one fierce competitor is looking to mimic Amazon.com and boost sales for its rivals.

With Amazon.com moving to building distribution centers near the largest U.S. cities for quick delivery, names like Wal-mart (NYSE: WMT), JCPenney (NYSE: JCP), and Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) will be utilizing the service more to improve sales while appeasing shareholders.
