LAPD Looks to Equip Every Officer with On-Body Cameras (TASR) (DGLY)

TASER Int'l (Nasdaq: TASR) and Digital Ally (Nasdaq: DGLY) are showing some signs of life Tuesday following earlier reports that a noted police squad will begin sporting on-body cameras.

According to the WSJ, the Los Angeles Police Department will be outfitted with the wearable cameras. LA Mayor Eric Garcetti will make the announcement sometime today.

The news follows the New York Police Department's move to equip the devices, which was announced earlier in December.

Both TASR and DGLY are positive in afternoon trading Tuesday.
