Kraft Heinz (KHC) Will Close Seven Plants, Layoff ~2,600 Workers

Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ: KHC) to close seven plants and layoff around 2,600 workers, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
UPDATE - Facilities to be closed are: Fullerton and San Leandro, California; Federalsburg, Maryland; St. Marys, Ontario, Canada; Campbell, New York; Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania; and Madison, Wisconsin.
Closures are expected to happen over the next 12 to 24 months.
Following he closure of the Kraft-Heinz merger earlier in 2015, the companies said about 2,500 non-factory jobs would be eliminated.
Shares of KHC are down 0.6 percent.
