Barron's published an article in this weekend's edition highlighting reasons why Kimberly-Clark (NYSE: KMB) stock looks compelling.
Valued at 14x the Street's FY08 EPS estimate of $4.54, shares of Kimberly-Clark are trading at about a 20% discount to its historical average and peer group average multiples. Additionally, Barron's also likes Kimberly-Clark's 3.7% dividend yield, which the Company has increased by 9.4% this year.
Barron's believes Kimberly-Clark will soon begin to benefit from a recent 4-7% price hike on some of its products. Considering the Company's already decent cash position of about $2.4 billion, Kimberly-Clark should be able to continue growing its dividend and buying back stock.
Barron's points out that Kimberly-Clark's CEO, Tom Falk, reaffirmed, in February, the Company's previously issued FY08 EPS guidance of $4.45-$4.60.
Kimberly-Clark is scheduled to report earnings tomorrow, April 22.
