Juniper (JNPR) Ticks Higher Following CEO Comments, Peer Results

Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR) is modestly higher Wednesday following comments from CEO Kevin Johnson at the Citi 2013 Global Technology Conference earlier.
In part, Johnson said that bookings in the current quarter are tracking ahead of expectations.
Juniper might also be getting a boost as Ciena Corp (Nasdaq: CIEN) issued strong Q3 results and guidance earlier.
While Ciena's stock is up over 11 percent on the session, shares of Juniper are up about 5.5 percent.
