Jim Cramer Sees Apache (APA) as Good Egypt-Related Play

February 11, 2011 3:49 PM EST
Following the news that the Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak has stepped down, CNBC Mad Money host Jim Cramer said Friday that Apache Corp. (NYSE: APA) is at the top of the list of good Egypt-related plays.

"I think that stock is a strong buy because the military is going to keep [their] relationship with Apache," Cramer said. "It's got the fastest growing profile and it does report next week."

Cramer added that 25 percent of Apache's cash flow comes out of Egypt, which uses its military as a force of stability.

Shares of Apache are up 1.66 percent to $119.67 in late market movement on Friday.
