Jay Leno Nears Deal for New CNBC Show
Former The Tonight Show host Jay Leno is close to signing a deal with CNBC to host a new show that will focus on Leno's longtime love of cars, according to reports from the Hollywood Reporter.
The new show will be scheduled for prime-time viewing not late night.
Best known for its coverage of the financial markets, CNBC has suffered low ratings during its daytime programming and is looking to broaden its viewership.
