JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) said to shut proprietary commodities-trading unit - Bloomberg.
JP Morgan told traders that they will be closing down its commodities prop trading unit soon and eventually close all proprietary trading at the company to comply with the Volcker rule. The next prop-trading units to be cut will be fixed-income and equities.
