State television in Iran is reporting that a "massive cyber attack" was detected against its nuclear facilities, according to a Reuter's reports. Iran's Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi accused the United States, Israel, and Britain of planned the attack.

Last month a sophisticated virus said to be developed by the U.S. dubbed "Flame" was found on computers in Iran. In 2010 Iran's nuclear program came under attack by the Stuxnet computer worm, which caused centrifuges to fail at the main Iranian enrichment facility. Reports out later confirmed that the U.S. and Israel were probably behind the Stuxnet attacks.

"They still seek to carry out the plan, but we have taken necessary measures," added Moslehi, who was quick to say the country had defeated the virus.

It was not clear if the cyber attack referred to by Moslehi was "Flame", a new version of Stuxnet, or something else.
