Vivus, Inc. (Nasdaq: VVUS) continues moving higher Friday afternoon. Shares are now up nearly 12 percent, leading to a 100 percent gain since its Qnexa weight-loss drug got an FDA panel backing late Wednesday.
Were up as much as 13 percent on the session, but are currently about 11.5 percent better. Volume is extraordinarily strong on the session as well, with about 16 million shares switching hands.
