Investors Buying NVIDIA (NVDA) Shares Following Microsoft, "Project Denver" Announcements

NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) shares are stronger today, up about 7%, following an announcement yesterday that Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) that their next generation Windows OS will support System on a Chip (SoC) architectures, which will include ARM-based microprocessor systems.

NVIDIA, yesterday, confirmed their plans to build ARM-based CPU cores yesterday, ahead of the Microsoft announcement. The initiative carries the codename, "Project Denver." An NVIDIA CPU running the ARM instruction set, which will be fully integrated on the same chip as the NVIDIA GPU.
