IAC/InterActiveCorp (IACI) Surges On Break-Up News

Investors are applauding Barry Diller's move to split up IAC/InterActiveCorp (Nasdaq: IACI) into five separate publicly traded companies. Investors sent shares of IAC/InterActiveCorp up 9% on the news.

The five companies will be IAC, HSN, Ticketmaster, Interval International and LendingTree.

Some big winners from today's news include large IAC holders like Liberty Media, Legg Mason Capital, Lord Abbett, Clearbridge Advisors and Goldman Sachs Group.

Barry Diller was also a big winner. Diller has seen is 3.3% personal stake in IAC increase in value by more than $22 million just today.
