Shares of Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: HOV) are 3.6% higher today as investors maybe finding solace�after CEO Ara Hovnanian's interview on CNBC this morning.
Hovnanian noted�that he has seen a�pick-up in the past couple weeks. He said�this strength maybe because buyers are feeling a little bit more optimistic after the recent housing bill.
Hovnanian also said because many builders are closing up�shop and the demographics are improving, the outlook of strong builders like Hovnanian is good.
