Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) Pops Early Following Strong Q1 PC Shipment Numbers

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) shares are popping early following some late releases Wednesday.
Gartner reported that H-Ps global PC market share in the first-quarter of 2012 improved from 26.2 percent last year to 29.0 percent. IDC said its market share moved from 26.5 percent to 28.0 percent.
Total shipments for H-P increased 6.6 percent at Gartner and IDC.
Shares are 5 percent better early on.
