Google (Nasdaq: GOOG)(Nasdaq: GOOGL) has acquired Odysee, which created apps for Android and iOS that allow users to backup photos and videos taken on smartphones or tablets to their home computers. Terms of the transaction weren't disclosed.
The purchase might move into private sharing and offline sharing of media, which was another feature that Odysee offered.
