Google (GOOG) Remains the Top U.S. Web Property; Facebook Continues Growth

According to comScore Inc.'s (Nasdaq: SCOR) October Media Matrix Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) is still the top web property in the U.S., while the world's most popular social networking site, Facebook continues its rapid ascension.
The report showed that Google, the world's No. 1 Internet search company, saw 180.8 million visitors in October.
Yahoo Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) and Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) followed closely behind Google, with 179.6 million ad 170.6 million visitors last month respectively.
Facebook surpassed 150 million for the first time in October, coming in fourth with 151.1 million visitors in the U.S.
Climbing the charts was WordPress, leaping 6 positions to 33rd with 31 million visitors, while LinkedIn made the Top 50 for the first time with 25.2 million.
In the advertising space, Google's Ad Network led the October Ad Focus ranking, reaching 93.4 million percent of Americans online. Yahoo was second with 86.3 percent and AOL Inc. (NYSE: AOL) was third with 86.2 percent.
