Google (Nasdaq: GOOG)(Nasdaq: GOOGL) isn't about to let Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) steal all the September product unveiling limelight.
According to CNET, Google will host an event on September 29th in San Francisco to debut two versions of its Nexus smartphones. One of the devices will be smaller and built by LG and the larger version will be built by Huawei.
The devices are expected to be the first which will run Android 6.0 "Marshmallow."
Pricing hasn't been speculated, but, due in part to a slower time between upgrades for most and as many U.S. carriers have dropped subsidies, pricing should be competitive.
Shares of Google are up 1.7 percent.
