Google (GOOG) Android Continues Gaining Global Share in December (AAPL) (MSFT)

Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android is continuing to global gain market share with in the handset and tablet segment.
According to StatCounter, Android's market share stands at 39.07 percent in December, up from 37.40 percent in November and 30.29 percent for December 2012.
Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iOS saw share slip slightly lower in December, to 31.79 percent from 32.54 percent the prior month and 34.62 percent in December 2012.
Nokia's Series 40 held firm at about 10.5 percent.
BlackBerry boasted just 3 percent share in December 2013, down 15 basis points from the prior month.
Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) Windows Phone moved from 1.56 percent in November up to 1.68 percent last month. The platform's share was just 0.73 percent in December 2012, StatCounter data shows.
