Alphabet's (Nasdaq: GOOG)(Nasdaq: GOOGL) famed Internet search unit, Google, is planning to make its next Google Glass wearable have the key feature of being able to fold-up, presumably for storage and portability.
9to5Google noted that the device will be aimed more at enterprise clients this time around. The device will include new hardware along with the button-and-hinge system.
The device will include an Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) Atom processor, better battery life, and improved wireless connectivity. The device will also be distributed only through Glass for Work startups.
Shares of Alphabet are indicated higher early Tuesday.
