Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) has named a new chairman of its Southeastern Asia market.
According to Reuters, Tim Leissner will assume the role as Goldman looks to strengthen investment banking relationships in the region.
The role was last held by L. Brooks Entwistle, who retired in 2012.
Leissner will retain his duties as vice chairman of investment banking in Asia, excluding Japan.
Shares of Goldman are flat in early trading.
