Goldman Sachs (GS) Up 2% After Results, Raised Buyback

Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE: GS) is up about 2% following better-than-expected earnings and an additional 60 million share buyback.

Goldman's results were better-than-expected, but were not considered blow-out. But in this environment, investors are giving Goldman kudos.

Goldman's total buyback authorization is about 18% of the total shares outstanding and 20% of the float.
