The government is looking into Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) over the offering and auction of securities, as well as when-issued trading,
according to the firm's quarterly regulatory filing made early Tuesday.
The disclosures were added to a list of activities that regulators and other government bodies are probing.
Earlier in 2015, the U.S. Department of Justice began looking into potential collusion of the $12.7 trillion U.S. Treasury market. Goldman was one of 22 firms named in the investigation, which began last July.
Shares of Goldman are up 0.9 percent and moving to session highs Tuesday morning. Notably, the firm also trimmed its estimate for reasonably possible legal costs in excess of reserves in the same filing.
