Gold Slightly Higher on Revised GDP Data
Following GDP data today, gold contracts have moved into the green and gold ETFs are trading higher pre-market. December 2010 contracts are trading $5.8/ounce higher to $1243.5/ounce on the COMEX. SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) is up about 0.12%.
Revised GDP for Q210 came in at 1.6%, compared to the consensus of $1.4. Prior GDP was $2.4%.
iShares COMEX Gold Trust (NYSE: IAU) are also up about 0.17% to $12.12 pre-market.
