GM (GM) Volatility Low into Annual Meeting of Stockholders 2012

General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) option implied volatility is low heading into the Company's Annual Shareholders Meeting. According to market data, implied volatility is at 96.7 percent of its annual historical average. Volatility is up 1.4 percent Tuesday, calculated from the close Monday.

Shares of GM are down 0.5 percent on the session. The stock has been hanging below most moving averages since late-April, with shares now down 37.5 percent from its opening IPO price of $35 in November, 2010.
